Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how OTA-Pulse ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website, hosted Cloud service, and related products (collectively, the "Services").
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and organization details when you create an account, contact us, or request a demo. When you use our hosted Services, we also process operational data related to your devices and fleet — such as device identifiers, firmware version, deployment status, and telemetry metrics — as necessary to provide the Services. Our website collects limited, aggregated usage analytics as described below.
How We Use It
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; to communicate with you about your account, support requests, or product updates; to monitor the security and performance of the Services; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & Analytics
Our marketing website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across websites or devices. Plausible collects aggregated, anonymized page-view metrics (such as page path, referrer, and country-level location derived from IP address, which is not stored) to help us understand overall site usage. Because no cookies are set and no per-visitor personal data is retained, this analytics usage does not require a cookie-consent banner under current regulatory guidance we are aware of. Our hosted Cloud console may use functionally necessary session cookies or local storage to keep you signed in; these are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
Data Sharing & Processors
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers who process it on our behalf — for example, infrastructure/hosting providers, email delivery services, and analytics providers — solely to help us operate the Services, and subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Device telemetry and operational data are retained according to the retention configuration of your organization's deployment; you can contact us to request adjustments where supported. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. We aim to support these rights for all users on a reasonable-efforts basis, regardless of jurisdiction. To make a request, contact us at hello@ota-pulse.com; we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We have not obtained, and do not claim, specific third-party privacy certifications at this time — if you require formal compliance documentation for your own regulatory needs, contact us to discuss what is currently available.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for the Services and access controls for our internal systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting an updated version on this page or notifying you by email. Your continued use of the Services after a change becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
